We are a family-run business with a long-standing background in agricultural production which has its origins halfway through the last century. The activities are carried out in the Littoral zone of Argentina. “Estancia Los Charabones S.A.” emerged in 2002 and on the path to growth “Cabaña Los Charabones” was founded in 2009 outlining genetic improvement, following the northward shift in livestock production where “Los Charabones” evolved into a biotype of high genetic merit that is highly sought after in the region.
Estancia Los Charabones is located in Los Saladillos, 36 km east of San Justo; the core of the company’s establishments where agricultural and livestock activities are carried out.
The company develops its activities on its own and leased fields which are located in the northern centre of the province of Santa Fe and in offices in the Capital City of the province where the central administration operates, always working hard to offer their customers the best products..
Estancia Los Charabones S.A. is an Argentine private equity company that strongly believes in the development and production of the agricultural sector in order to meet an increasing global demand and look forward to the future.
WHY BRADFORD?
From Los Charabones viewpoint, Bradford breed is the breed per excellence: As livestock breeders, we believe that the herd has the necessary hardiness to survive in harsh fields and are docile enough to be managed easily, in addition to the acceptable precocity in the heard of mothers and heavy calves at weaning, with the possibility of fattening dry cows of good weight for export. As winter breeders, we guarantee the necessary fattening softness and plasticity to be able to fatten steers with different finishing weights according to the market demand and with high- quality meat.
Nowadays, we are looking for markets in the value added along the chain, up to the final consumers, thinking of high- quality products.
